Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Romeo started the match with the kick off. Filip Bâru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Mocanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dragoş Cordescu in the 9th minute. Valeriu Bucurescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Aurelian Marincean got a free kick in the 11th minute. FC TraLaLa's Aristide Răduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Voicescu in the 13th minute of play. Aristide Răduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Voicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Rusu scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristide Răduț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When FC TraLaLa's Paul Romeo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute Calistrat Potopea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Răduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Voicescu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Răduț. Aristide Răduț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Paul Romeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TraLaLa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C CLUJ MEDICINA the free kick. In the 43rd minute of the match Dragoş Cordescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristide Răduț showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aristide Răduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Bucurescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calistrat Potopea made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Găman. Lucian Găman's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Găman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Lucian Găman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, Mădălin Bobailă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TraLaLa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C CLUJ MEDICINA the free kick. In the 55th minute, Mădălin Bobailă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Potopea came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Valeriu Bucurescu got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Șerban Rusu in the 63rd minute really tested Aristide Răduț's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sever Piţurcă was slow to take the kick. During this time FC TraLaLa's players had a chance to rest. Sever Piţurcă made a great header on FC TraLaLa's corner, it was just that F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Filip Bâru managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Sever Piţurcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC TraLaLa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Piţurcă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Bâru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidiu Voicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aristide Răduț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Potopea came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Calistrat Potopea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over F.C CLUJ MEDICINA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC TraLaLa throughout the match.
