Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Urs Nebunu made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Gâfu in the 2nd minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmen Johannis took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Leontin Titulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. F.C. YKE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leontin Titulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Urs Nebunu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. Urs Nebunu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Leontin Titulescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam 17 minutes into the match. Martin Ursulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmen Johannis in the 24th minute of play. Vasile Ike hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Carpathians's Martin Ursulescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Daniel Lunca got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cazimir Puișoru kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Leontin Titulescu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Leontin Titulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Ursulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 47 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolae Stanciu to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Carmen Johannis came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urs Nebunu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Lunca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Titulescu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Gotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. YKE were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Carpathians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Tărâţă took the corner. After taking down the ball on F.C. YKE's corner Cazimir Puișoru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basarab Pârcălab quite easily take care of the ball. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urs Nebunu in the 66th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathians's Martin Ursulescu. But to his dismay, Martin Ursulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Carpathians made a substitution. Ioan Pantilimon replaced Big Blond. 75 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Titulescu came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ursulescu in the 76th minute of play. Lucky Luciano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Urs Nebunu came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carpathians's Urs Nebunu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Titulescu in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Carpathians's Urs Nebunu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nicolae Stanciu hit a great ball.
