After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Urs Nebunu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Chiriță came out of the goal and Urs Nebunu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lv Si Hao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leontin Titulescu was the one to do the kick off. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ursulescu in the 50th minute of play. If Martin Ursulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urs Nebunu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Chiriță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Leontin Titulescu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Chiriță. The Carpathians players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
