Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Remus Vermeşan kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tulkas Vala came free, but Marcel Chiriță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Meleșcanu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Chiriță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgil Meleșcanus short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Marcel Chiriță to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Virgil Meleșcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Chiriță having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Meleșcanu in the 18th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Călin Tache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Valar's Virgil Meleșcanu got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Claudiu Iorgovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Răduța in the 28th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Claudiu Iorgovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Claudiu Iorgovan hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, The Valar's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Deckkers came free, but Francisc Ghionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the game, Remus Vermeşan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Valar the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Remus Vermeşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of The Valar booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Andronescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claudiu Iorgovan sped through ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Chiriță. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Meleșcanu in the 62nd minute of the match. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Meleșcanu in the 65th minute of play. The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Remus Vermeşan. Marcel Chiriță had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Oromë Vala's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 82nd minute Tulkas Vala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Meleșcanu in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Chiriță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dăscălescu. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Meleșcanu in the 95th minute of play. Valeriu Păuceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriu Păuceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Valeriu Păuceanu hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Valar.
