Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marin Zbuchea started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cristinel Vaida hit a great ball. Dan Deleanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Tărâţă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Biagio Pelliccia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 11th minute. Biagio Pelliccia was a little too slow when Francisc Stanca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Vaida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Maxim-Alexander Ike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. YKE and the Peretu City 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Tărâţă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Deleanu in the 21st minute of the match. Peretu City 09's Biagio Pelliccia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Peretu City 09 from getting a goal against them. F.C. YKE's Ivan Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Beșliu in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Marin Zbuchea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nechifor Beșliu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Tărâţă saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. Dan Deleanu took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Tărâţă. Ivan Tărâţă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Petre Romanescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Biagio Pelliccia made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, F.C. YKE's Francisc Stanca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biagio Pelliccia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Viorel Hidișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Peretu City 09's Mihăiţă Penescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petre Romanescu, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After 57 played minutes, F.C. YKE's Ionică Ike shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Biagio Pelliccia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. YKE reached it. Peretu City 09's Biagio Pelliccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Zbuchea came free, but Biagio Pelliccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Peretu City 09's Titus Steel got a free kick in the 61st minute. 68 minutes into the game, Maxim-Alexander Ike threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peretu City 09's Cristinel Vaida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Ivan Tărâţă got control of the ball when Nechifor Beșliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Deleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Tărâţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Deleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Biagio Pelliccia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Mischie kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Peretu City 09's Biagio Pelliccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Siteavu in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nechifor Beșliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Tărâţă was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. F.C. YKE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
