Simion Pop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simion Pop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Dinulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Isac Ciomag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Radomil Gotfryd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Maxim to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Isac Ciomag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoalHunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. GoalHunters's Fortunato Chioda got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomil Gotfryd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GoalHunters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
