When Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Costică Ciordaș in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Dacian Ciocan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valer Nuțu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Octav Puiu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Codruț Dindelegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Benga, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Costică Ciordaș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valer Nuțu. Valer Nuțu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 16th play minutes Dan Gagiu shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Codruț Dindelegan and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Benga in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codruț Dindelegan saved Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ from getting behind. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. Dan Gagiu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Ciordaș in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Ciordaș came free, but Valer Nuțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ defense, Dan Gagiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Dindelegan. The Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Dindelegan should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Dan Gagiu came free, but Codruț Dindelegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Gâdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Dacian Ciocan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valer Nuțu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Codruț Dindelegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Benga in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Zmeu to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Dindelegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Benga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Petre Benga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codruț Dindelegan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Papadima was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costel Gâdea. 57 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Codruț Dindelegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Benga. After 58 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Strugure. 59 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Augustin Papadima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valer Nuțu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Manole Zbârcea fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s protests and gave Manole Zbârcea a yellow card for diving instead. Codruț Dindelegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Gagiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Codruț Dindelegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Octav Puiu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Albert Guriță took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Codruț Dindelegan to make any attempt to save it. In the 79th minute, Aron Zmeu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 89 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Benga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Dindelegan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Albert Guriță came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Codruț Dindelegan could save by the left post. Dan Gagiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
