Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyryl Liberko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Pierz in the 23rd minute. Wladyslaw Borczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Keilor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RKS Królewscy's Keilor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janos Škarpa in the 25th minute of play. Keilor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janos Škarpa in the 26th minute of the match. Skarpa Ełk were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after RKS Królewscy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wladyslaw Borczak took the corner. Zdzislaw Pierz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyryl Liberko came out and tried to block the shot, but Zdzislaw Pierz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. If Wladyslaw Borczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyryl Liberko was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Zdzislaw Pierz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zdzislaw Pierz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Janos Škarpa took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keilor Navas. Keilor Navas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cyryl Liberko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Pierz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janos Škarpa was the one to do the kick off. When Skarpa Ełk's Stefan Waselewicz in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Zenon Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Waselewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keilor Navas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Mieszko Mazierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keilor Navas having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Keilor Navas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Korneliusz Narbut charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
