Cezary Madajczyk started the match with the kick off. Tadeusz Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Matuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Cielencki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Ankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Szczepan Matuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal's Tadeusz Cielencki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Szczepan Matuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Szczepan Matuch made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Cielencki. Arsenal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee ignored Shaolin soccer's protests and gave Tanek Ankiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Tanek Ankiewicz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Szczepan Matuch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Cielencki was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Emil Karp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Cielencki. Emil Karp might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeusz Cielencki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Karp ran back to his position shaking his head. Olgierd Pietrasz took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Cielencki. Tadeusz Cielencki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Szczepan Matuch to make the kick off. Szczepan Matuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Cielencki having to interfere. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Siwek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Shaolin soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Ankiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Bartosz Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Szczepan Matuch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Cielencki made a huge save. Mikolaj Zacharzewski hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Emil Karp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal's Tadeusz Cielencki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Ankiewicz in the 69th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Tadeusz Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, one of Shaolin soccer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bartosz Lech had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Mikolaj Zacharzewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emil Karp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Emil Karp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeusz Cielencki. Emil Karp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 82 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Czerner came free, but Tadeusz Cielencki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Emil Karp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes Arsenal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szczepan Matuch who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Emil Cetnar advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-9 in the 87th minute. Zbigniew Czerner might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeusz Cielencki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbigniew Czerner ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Zbigniew Czerner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal's zone, Emil Karp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Cielencki came out of the goal and Emil Karp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Arsenal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shaolin soccer were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
