The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olimpia HSB's Borys Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Bulkiewicz in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Grucza in the 17th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedykt Nienajadlo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Nienajadlo. Zygmunt Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Wozniak in the 18th minute of play. Hieronim Kasprzak scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Gniech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Borys Mentus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Nienajadlo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Borys Pruss made a precise shot to the right of Borys Mentus. Olimpia HSB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Olimpia HSB made a substitution.
