An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Wietrzychowski in the 7th minute of play forced Chotów SSA's goalkeeper Marcin Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chotów SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zbyszko Mruk in the 10th minute. Chotów SSA's Zbyszko Mruk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Piotr Gecionis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Chotów SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Wietrzychowski came free, but Marcin Makomaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zdzislaw Bartocha came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Chotów SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Bartocha couldn't finish the play. Jakub Bialakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Śląsk Bytom's Mariusz Harasimowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Napoleon Wietrzychowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Chotów SSA's Jakub Bialakowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 34th minute Śląsk Bytom were awarded a corner. Zbyszko Napierkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcin Makomaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Napierkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Marcin Makomaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Wietrzychowski in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszko Mruk made a kick off. Piotr Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Mruk in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Chotów SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ikalewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Napoleon Wietrzychowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Mruk in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszko Napierkowski got free with Marcin Makomaski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zbyszko Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Chotów SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Wietrzychowski came free, but Marcin Makomaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcin Makomaski was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Napoleon Wietrzychowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Napoleon Wietrzychowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When the match was over Śląsk Bytom could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chotów SSA throughout the match.
