Konrad Domeracki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Edgar Rzeszutko made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Andrzej Prokowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Wasikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Raszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Catalonia's Gilbert Betonowy got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Olaf Milan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Rzeszutko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Domeracki came free, but Edgar Rzeszutko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Edgar Rzeszutko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Niedzwiecki. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Catalonia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Milan was slow to take the kick. During this time Varsovia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Olaf Milan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Rzeszutko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edgar Rzeszutko made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gilbert Niedzwiecki sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Wlodzimierz Raszek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Wasikowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Niedzwiecki got free with Edgar Rzeszutko in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boguslaw Zurawski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gilbert Betonowy's late challenge caught a Varsovia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Betonowy helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes FC Catalonia got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Betonowy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Snaza in the 38th minute of play forced FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Edgar Rzeszutko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Catalonia's Stefan Fikus got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Niedzwiecki to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gilbert Niedzwiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Rzeszutko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Rzeszutko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Niedzwiecki in the 52nd minute of play. Edgar Rzeszutko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Niedzwiecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Edgar Rzeszutko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Snaza in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Varsovia's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Raszek came free, but Leonard Wasikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Michal Serwach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varsovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Serwach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Rzeszutko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Rzeszutko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Domeracki went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Edgar Rzeszutko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Chrzan in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Varsovia's Mikolaj Chrzan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Gilbert Niedzwiecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Rzeszutko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gilbert Niedzwiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Rzeszutko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Raszek in the 72nd minute of play forced Varsovia's goalkeeper Leonard Wasikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Varsovia defense, Wlodzimierz Raszek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Wasikowski. The Varsovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Wasikowski should have stopped the shot. Wlodzimierz Raszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Wasikowski having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Konrad Domeracki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varsovia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Edgar Rzeszutko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Serwach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Catalonia's Edgar Rzeszutko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Domeracki in the 86th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Olgierd Snaza notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of FC Catalonia's Edgar Rzeszutko. Edgar Rzeszutko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
