Waclaw Brzakala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Lichniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bogumil Lichniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Brzakala having to interfere. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Juliusz Mentus hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Frodyma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waclaw Brzakala was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Gwidon Sawicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Gieraltowski in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Bogumil Lichniak managed to get in a good position for a shot.
