Wit Drab had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Balázs Bodnár's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ladislao Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benedykt Marosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sawino SA's Wit Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Sobania in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Hugon Mazierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedykt Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Chowaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Sawino SA's goalkeeper Wit Drab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szymon Falkiewicz. If Marek Weyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonard Wojton might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wit Drab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Wojton ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Green Dragons Reaktywacja's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Piglowski came free, but Benedykt Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Hugon Mazierski put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Green Dragons Reaktywacja:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sawino SA:s goal. The referee gave Sawino SA a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacek Gollob, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Green Dragons Reaktywacja's Benedykt Marosz. 0-1. After the first half Sawino SA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Benedykt Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Chowaniec in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sawino SA's zone, Marek Weyna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Drab came out of the goal and Marek Weyna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedykt Marosz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juliusz Zgonina hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ladislao Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benedykt Marosz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
