When Korneliusz Sakowicz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Korneliusz Sakowicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute Teobald Dyczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Kasprzak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Amatorzy Kopania's Radowit Nieruchliwy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barnaba Nieuzyla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Amatorzy Kopania booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Tarasek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaba Nieuzyla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Siwek in the 24th minute of play. Wit Dziewedik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Wieslaw Kasprzak made a huge save. Amatorzy Kopania's Wieslaw Kasprzak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Amatorzy Kopania from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Dyczkowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Amatorzy Kopania's goalkeeper Wieslaw Kasprzak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Amatorzy Kopania's Bartlomiej Siwek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaba Nieuzyla was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartlomiej Siwek to make the kick off. With a little luck, KS Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Nieuzyla got control of the ball when Radowit Nieruchliwy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmund Tarasek hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Barnaba Nieuzyla made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bartlomiej Siwek sent off a good shot on target. When Cezary Duda fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Cezary Duda a yellow card for diving instead. Cezary Duda hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Radowit Nieruchliwy came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Barnaba Nieuzyla could save by the left post. After 84 played minutes KS Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Marchlewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Dziewedik in the 88th minute of play forced Amatorzy Kopania's goalkeeper Wieslaw Kasprzak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Nieuzyla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Scigan in the 92nd minute of play. The Amatorzy Kopania supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amatorzy Kopania would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
