In the 24th minute Fryderyk Walicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Smolarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Chowaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Boleslaw Dropinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Walicki in the 37th minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Antoni Chowaniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AP Tempo's Zbyszek Smolarek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to AP Tempo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Boguslaw Walentowicz hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslaw Poteralski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antoni Chowaniec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszek Smolarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Grzegorz Sowa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zbyszek Smolarek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 78 minutes, Antoni Chowaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Chowaniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes AP Tempo got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Walentowicz. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Antoni Chowaniec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Smolarek. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. Zbyszek Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Chowaniec in the 87th minute of play. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after AP Tempo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pankracy Siwek took the corner. With a little luck, AP Tempo's Zbyszek Smolarek got control of the ball when Miroslaw Poteralski tried to sneak it across the goal line.
