A collision led to Vestfjorden FK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Birk Johannessen hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goal looked a bit too open when Ími Friðbertsson came free, but Asmund Ødegård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmund Ødegård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ími Friðbertsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Yngve Kaldestad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Asmund Ødegård was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vikjorden getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mikael Forbord hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Vestfjorden FK were awarded a corner. Ståle Stokkan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vestfjorden FK's Christian Salamonsen to a score. 0-2 in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ími Friðbertsson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård. Asmund Ødegård was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Yngve Kaldestad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asmund Ødegård was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Brage Sandvoll's late challenge caught a Vestfjorden FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brage Sandvoll helped the player get up and apologised. Asmund Ødegård didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yngve Kaldestad went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Torjus Pettersen scored 0-6 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asmund Ødegård, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 minutes of play, Vestfjorden FK's Yngve Kaldestad made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asmund Ødegård was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asmund Ødegård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Kaldestad in the 43rd minute of play. Asmund Ødegård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torjus Pettersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Kaldestad in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ími Friðbertsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Kaldestad in the 51st minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Vikjorden defense, Ími Friðbertsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asmund Ødegård. The Vikjorden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asmund Ødegård should have stopped the shot. In the last second Asmund Ødegård throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yngve Kaldestad in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ími Friðbertsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ími Friðbertsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Asmund Ødegård was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the game, Yngve Kaldestad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asmund Ødegård. Yngve Kaldestad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Bendik Breistein hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Mikael Forbord hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vestfjorden FK's Ståle Stokkan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vikjorden. Asmund Ødegård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Kaldestad in the 80th minute of play. Asmund Ødegård made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torjus Pettersen in the 81st minute. With his leg Asmund Ødegård managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Vestfjorden FK's Christian Salamonsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Vestfjorden FK's Birk Johannessen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Vestfjorden FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
