After 9 played minutes Fjertoft FF got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Thommesen. Jonathan Fimreite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Fjertoft FF's Trygve Larsen got control of the ball when Barney Greenwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Fjertoft FF's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Ginn came free, but Trygve Larsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Torstein Langvik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matty Higginson skillfully saved the ball. Trygve Larsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Garrett in the 25th minute of play. Trygve Larsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Ginn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matty Higginson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Fimreite's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Fjertoft FF's Nils-Arne Abbas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jim Wellings was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Trygve Larsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Ginn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyn Ginn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Fimreite to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Fimreite made a precise shot to the right of Matty Higginson. F.C North's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to F.C North getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. John Darby hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Fimreite in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matty Higginson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martyn Ginn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Garry Garrett came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the F.C North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garry Garrett couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Fjertoft FF's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Ginn came free, but Trygve Larsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matty Higginson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Torstein Langvik. Trygve Larsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfie Senior in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Fjertoft FF defense, Barney Greenwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trygve Larsen. The Fjertoft FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trygve Larsen should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Barney Greenwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C North fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Trygve Larsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Greenwood in the 83rd minute of the match. Bastian Thommesen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Martyn Ginn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, one of Fjertoft FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fjertoft FF. Trygve Larsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfie Senior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C North fully deserved thier win.
