In the 7th minute of the match, Yngve Kaldestad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amdi Hojslund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amdi Hojslund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birk Johannessen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Vestfjorden FK's Torjus Pettersen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amdi Hojslund. Amdi Hojslund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Amdi Hojslund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Kaldestad in the 16th minute of play. Amdi Hojslund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. If Birk Johannessen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Vestfjorden FK's Ími Friðbertsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amdi Hojslund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torjus Pettersen got free with Amdi Hojslund in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amdi Hojslund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ími Friðbertsson in the 28th minute of the match. When Birk Johannessen came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vestfjorden FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birk Johannessen couldn't finish the play. Porshøj FC's Amdi Hojslund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Porshøj FC from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Porshøj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torjus Pettersen came free, but Amdi Hojslund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torjus Pettersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amdi Hojslund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kris Mynderup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elmer Jasari to make the kick off. Porshøj FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Porshøj FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Hjertshøj to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes of play, Vestfjorden FK's Ími Friðbertsson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amdi Hojslund was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vestfjorden FK booed when Porshøj FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvart Hedsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vestfjorden FK's Ståle Stokkan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torjus Pettersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amdi Hojslund having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Vestfjorden FK's Ími Friðbertsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amdi Hojslund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes, Lennarth Jarnskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porshøj FC and the Vestfjorden FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Porshøj FC's Lennarth Jarnskov got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ími Friðbertsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porshøj FC's Amdi Hojslund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
