Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tris Marriot made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tris Marriot in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Banvan Duggan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tris Marriot came free, but Banvan Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Tris Marriot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banvan Duggan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tris Marriot in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Banvan Duggan saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind. Banvan Duggan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tris Marriot's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, one of FC ARK CS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, St. James Gate F.C.'s Beckett Costello got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bart Fenton. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken McGurk in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Banvan Duggan saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, FC ARK CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Hampton to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, St. James Gate F.C.'s Beckett Costello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With his leg Bart Fenton managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when St. James Gate F.C.'s Beckett Costello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Beckett Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's Sebastien Frost broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, St. James Gate F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bil McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. If Oscar Duke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Fenton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bil McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Coinneach McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC ARK CS's Ken McGurk in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St. James Gate F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Banvan Duggan had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sebastien Frost from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 76th minute FC ARK CS were awarded a corner. Sebastien Frost went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Conan Layfield heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ken McGurk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The St. James Gate F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC ARK CS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
