The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Medišauskas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tapa Athlétic™ booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemaras Alukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Jaan Haljasorg came free, but Jotautas Gutauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuldar Eluvee kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Ivo Mäekala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jotautas Gutauskas. Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Mäekala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Algirdas Kšanavičius during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tapa Athlétic™ booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algirdas Kšanavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Tapa Athlétic™'s corner Heino Vahar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jotautas Gutauskas quite easily take care of the ball. Jotautas Gutauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuldar Eluvee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jotautas Gutauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuldar Eluvee went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jotautas Gutauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Mäekala, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jotautas Gutauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Karmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herkus Survila to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kings's Airūnas Milius got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Gerd Karmo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tapa Athlétic™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerd Karmo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldar Eluvee in the 83rd minute of play forced Kings's goalkeeper Jotautas Gutauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Ivo Mäekala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ergo Inno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jotautas Gutauskas made a huge save. In the 95th minute Aistis Mečionis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailar Heinväli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Tapa Athlétic™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kings throughout the match.
