In the 3rd minute, Sander Eenmaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andris Nõmmeots received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kusti Rajamäe came out and tried to block the shot, but Andris Nõmmeots slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Hillar Ots cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tavo Potisepp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, JK Päntajalad's Ilmar Uibomäe got a free kick in the 12th minute. Janno Savisaar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Vambola Vanaliin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Kusti Rajamäe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kogimyae JK. Härmo Karindi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hillar Ots during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Hillar Ots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the game August Nurm made a throw-in which Georg Übi played forward. After some careless play in the JK Päntajalad defense, Mihkel Urm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kusti Rajamäe. The JK Päntajalad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kusti Rajamäe should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Hillar Ots notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp. Tavo Potisepp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Kogimyae JK's Vambola Vanaliin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tavo Potisepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hillar Ots in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Kogimyae JK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Vambola Vanaliin hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kogimyae JK's zone, Hillar Ots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tavo Potisepp came out of the goal and Hillar Ots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Ilmar Uibomäe hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harri Kalev to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Eino Raid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JK Päntajalad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eino Raid in the 57th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sulev Oksmaa during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mihkel Urm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihkel Urm in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kusti Rajamäe saved JK Päntajalad from getting behind. In the 69th minute of the match Kogimyae JK got a corner. JK Päntajalad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vambola Vanaliin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kogimyae JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vambola Vanaliin in the 71st minute. Vambola Vanaliin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kusti Rajamäe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vambola Vanaliin in the 75th minute of play forced JK Päntajalad's goalkeeper Kusti Rajamäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tavo Potisepp was a little too slow when Eino Raid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-4. Harri Kalev kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kogimyae JK's zone, August Nurm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tavo Potisepp came out of the goal and August Nurm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Innar Niinep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tavo Potisepp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Kogimyae JK got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Onkel. In the 89th minute, Sulev Oksmaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andris Nõmmeots charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andris Nõmmeots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JK Päntajalad walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
