Rainer Seltorp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Oscar Myr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rainer Seltorp. islahiye spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Myr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Christer Larsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stu Martin in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stu Martin got free with Christer Larsson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, islahiye spor's Ross Fountain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christer Larsson. Christer Larsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. James Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Larsson having to interfere. islahiye spor's Stu Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bårjåsnjárgga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when James Horsell 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 37th minute Runar Hojem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Seltorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, islahiye spor's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Myr came free, but Rainer Seltorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barrie Waite fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored islahiye spor's protests and gave Barrie Waite a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to islahiye spor getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Barrie Waite hit a great ball. Gjermund Engeset took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rainer Seltorp. islahiye spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Stu Martin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Vegard Breistein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. islahiye spor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by James Horsell in the 54th minute. Jørn Skaug tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Christer Larsson. Christer Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After having played for 64 minutes, James Horsell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. islahiye spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but James Horsell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bårjåsnjárgga's Oscar Myr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rainer Seltorp. That made the score 4-3 after 69 minutes of play. When Stu Martin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 80thth minute of the game Oscar Myr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but islahiye spor's Rainer Seltorp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Vegard Breistein notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of islahiye spor's Rainer Seltorp. Rainer Seltorp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Åsmund Jensrud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, islahiye spor's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Myr came free, but Rainer Seltorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
