KEZ Toppfotball's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vaclovas Jacinaitis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eduardas Girčius's late challenge caught a KEZ Toppfotball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardas Girčius helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eduardas Girčius hit a great ball. Vaclovas Jacinaitis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Stian Brenden sped through Savage Hippo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naglis Jonušas. Dangiras Rutkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Angvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaclovas Jacinaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jotautas Bakštys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastian Angvik. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jotautas Bakštys in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Angvik saved KEZ Toppfotball from getting behind. The supporters of KEZ Toppfotball booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algitas Mažeikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dangiras Rutkus struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Sebastian Angvik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savage Hippo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Sande during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stian Brenden was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Jotautas Bakštys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Angvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jotautas Bakštys in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Angvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jotautas Bakštys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Angvik having to interfere. Savage Hippo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardas Girčius in the 68th minute. Eduardas Girčius made a great header on Savage Hippo's corner, it was just that KEZ Toppfotball's Sebastian Angvik managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th match minute, KEZ Toppfotball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Bjerkan to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Vaclovas Jacinaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Angvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredas Klenkys in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Angvik saved KEZ Toppfotball from getting behind. When Jotautas Bakštys came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jotautas Bakštys couldn't finish the play. After 83 played minutes, Savage Hippo's Vaclovas Jacinaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Angvik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savage Hippo reached it. Alfredas Klenkys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sebastian Angvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Jotautas Bakštys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Angvik was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 94 minutes into the game, Jotautas Bakštys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Sebastian Angvik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Savage Hippo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
