In the 2nd match minute, Oslo City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mads Granly to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Inácio Mazza tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Den Hardwick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Lærum was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When Toby Dransfield came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toby Dransfield couldn't finish the play. Pierre Thielens kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Toby Dransfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lærum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Den Hardwick hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Dransfield in the 25th minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Christian Lærum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon-Inge Mauseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alnæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes in the game, Abraham Alnæs dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Christian Lærum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vebjørn Thorgersen charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vebjørn Thorgersen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Vebjørn Thorgersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Toby Dransfield made a precise shot to the right of Christian Lærum. Oslo City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toby Dransfield to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Abraham Alnæs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Synnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlbom having to interfere. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vebjørn Thorgersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Toby Dransfield tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Lærum saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Inge Mauseth in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Oslo City FC's Christian Lærum got control of the ball when Igor Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Kyrre Sundseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Dransfield received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Lærum came out and tried to block the shot, but Toby Dransfield slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 70th minute. Toby Dransfields short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Christian Lærum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Oslo City FC's Christian Lærum got control of the ball when Igor Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Lærum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toby Dransfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toby Dransfield's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Lærum firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Bobby Connell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
