The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Dane Wardell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Margiris Kerpauskas came free, but Dan Radcliffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Reuben Howarth got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dane Wardell during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Dane Wardell. In the 15th minute Modestas Mikelionis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Radcliffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Deividas Gedgaudas threw the ball into play from the sideline. T H F C's Quentin Forrest quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 21st match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Dexter to maneuver through the defense. Dan Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modestas Mikelionis in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, T H F C's Ged Pope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basarab Baldovinescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Modestas Mikelionis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but T H F C's Dan Radcliffe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Margiris Kerpauskas came free, but Dan Radcliffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Pete Sullivan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Radcliffe made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Remigijus Pažarskis sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Ged Pope left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T H F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Remigijus Pažarskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ged Pope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Baldovinescu was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Basarab Baldovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ged Pope, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dane Wardell was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The tension between the Hexo Utd and the T H F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hexo Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for T H F C.
