Rymu's Meelis Haab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Rymu from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Rymu's goal looked a bit too open when Benjaminas Navardauskas came free, but Meelis Haab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Narūnas Vaičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meelis Haab was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th minute Arūnas Česnauskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meelis Haab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meelis Haab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjaminas Navardauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 16 minutes, Rapolas Dulevičius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azytenai and the Rymu players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Riho Edesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Vaidas Bandza took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Meelis Haab to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Rymu's Meelis Haab got control of the ball when Narūnas Vaičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Azytenai booed when Rymu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Risto Võsandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Narūnas Vaičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjaminas Navardauskas in the 44th minute of play forced Rymu's goalkeeper Meelis Haab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Benjaminas Navardauskas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Meelis Haab, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Hernes to make the kick off. Edmund Hernes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virginijus Andriuškevičius having to make a save. Rymu's Meelis Haab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjaminas Navardauskas in the 56th minute of play. Edmund Hernes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virginijus Andriuškevičius came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmund Hernes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Rymu got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Hernes. Meelis Haab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaidas Bandza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Arūnas Česnauskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meelis Haab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Azytenai's Rapolas Dulevičius got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjaminas Navardauskas in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meelis Haab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaidas Bandza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Rymu's goal looked a bit too open when Benjaminas Navardauskas came free, but Meelis Haab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meelis Haab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narūnas Vaičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rymu's Meelis Haab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arūnas Česnauskis in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Narūnas Vaičius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meelis Haab. Rymu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narūnas Vaičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Narūnas Vaičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meelis Haab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjaminas Navardauskas in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Rymu's goal looked a bit too open when Arūnas Česnauskis came free, but Meelis Haab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Azytenai getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vaidas Bandza hit a great ball.
