Stig-Inge Langlo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Saga TF's Kjetil Devold got a free kick in the 14th minute. Saga TF's Stig-Inge Langlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Hellemann in the 18th minute of play. If Carl Jøssang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Hans-Petter Vatle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saga TF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Petter Vatle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Aleksander Ødegården got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Saga TF booed when FC Falkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Aunum didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Falkenberg's Nikki Letbøl got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Nikki Letbøl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aleksander Ødegården in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Konrad Højbjerg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stig-Inge Langlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Aunum in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Louie Hellemann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Inge Langlo. Saga TF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louie Hellemann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 60th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Aage Nyvoll to maneuver through the defense. 3-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Marco Elsbro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hans-Petter Vatle took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Højbjerg. Konrad Højbjerg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 68th minute, Carl Jøssang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Ødegården took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Højbjerg. Konrad Højbjerg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After a rather tough play, FC Falkenberg's Marco Elsbro got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Asmund Gyldenhave was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. Asmund Gyldenhave kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Carl Jøssang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Højbjerg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Ødegården's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Louie Hellemann kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. FC Falkenberg succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Saga TF had controlled the match.
