A collision led to lyptus getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nicklas Kieme hit a great ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Nicklas Kieme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DJK Füchtel Vechta's Wayne Knoppertz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wayne Knoppertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Køldorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Folke Vielmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Minert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

The wind increased when Jamal Gläsel made the kick off in the second half. Thor Herving hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Tiede in the 62nd minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the lyptus defense, Jamal Gläsel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Minert. The lyptus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Minert should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Vielmann. Folke Vielmann's late challenge caught a lyptus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Vielmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of lyptus booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Vielmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, lyptus's Jacob Cords got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Christoph Tiede reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Minert. The goal made the score 1-3. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Christoph Tiede put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Paul Minert. When the final whistle sounded DJK Füchtel Vechta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than lyptus.
