After a rather tough play, lyptus's Thor Herving got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nicklas Kieme might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylvester Toxwenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicklas Kieme ran back to his position shaking his head. Åge Falkenstam hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sylvester Toxwenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Kieme in the 22nd minute of the match. Walentin Barnby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Paul Minert made a huge save. Ahmet Haşim Sevgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Nicklas Kieme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sylvester Toxwenius was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 played minutes Hvam FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjeld Sterum. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Sylvester Toxwenius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Køldorf in the 65th minute of play forced Hvam FC's goalkeeper Sylvester Toxwenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjeld Sterum's late challenge caught a lyptus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
