Laurence Jakob started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes lyptus got a freekick which was hit by Roar Hammelgaard. Laurence Jakob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Frands Stensved fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lyptus's protests and gave Frands Stensved a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Großberghofen booed when lyptus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frands Stensved didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Messerschmitt in the 12th minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurence Jakob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Minert having to interfere. Nicky Buurskov charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicky Buurskov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Nicky Buurskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurence Jakob took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Minert. Paul Minert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Antoine Heidsiek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Großberghofen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoine Heidsiek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Jakob in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Minert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. lyptus's Paul Minert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Messerschmitt in the 30th minute of play. Mogens Steenbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Großberghofen's Ruben Pieschke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Kieme in the 36th minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Großberghofen's Elmar Krack made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Minert was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Großberghofen defense, Roar Hammelgaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Pieschke. The Großberghofen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Pieschke should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurence Jakob. lyptus's Paul Minert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Messerschmitt in the 65th minute of play. Uwe Messerschmitt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Paul Minert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, lyptus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frands Stensved to maneuver through the defense. lyptus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Elmar Krack scored to the left of an out of position Paul Minert, making the score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Messerschmitt in the 79th minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Antoine Heidsiek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elmar Krack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Großberghofen's Ruben Pieschke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Kieme in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th of the match, Antoine Heidsiek tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Paul Minert got in the way and made a wonderful save. 91 minutes into the game, Nicklas Kieme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. lyptus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Großberghofen the free kick. With a little luck, lyptus's Paul Minert got control of the ball when Laurence Jakob tried to sneak it across the goal line. Großberghofen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
