Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Manuel Engelmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ruben Pieschke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Engelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Christoph Tiede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Pieschke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Großberghofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Mukengechay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Großberghofen got a freekick which was hit by Christian Poll. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Henrik Jobst managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Jobst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Pieschke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uwe Messerschmitt in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wayne Knoppertz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Joerg-Uwe Boll came free, but Wayne Knoppertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmar Krack during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Großberghofen's Elmar Krack got a free kick in the 24th minute. Wayne Knoppertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Krack, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Wayne Knoppertz made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Laurence Jakob sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ante Kopitz to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Wayne Knoppertz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurence Jakob. Wayne Knoppertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatus Nützel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Wayne Knoppertz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Großberghofen's Laurence Jakob. But to his dismay, Laurence Jakob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of DJK Füchtel Vechta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Großberghofen:s goal. DJK Füchtel Vechta:s Wayne Knoppertz showed great skill when he stopped Uwe Messerschmitt:s penalty. Uwe Messerschmitt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wayne Knoppertz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Wayne Knoppertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Krack in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ante Kopitz got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 81st minute Elmar Krack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wayne Knoppertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marcus Niggemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Uwe Messerschmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Großberghofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Christian Poll fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Großberghofen's protests and gave Christian Poll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Christian Poll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Joseph Lötters got a free kick in the 97th minute. Laurence Jakob hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Großberghofen fans cheered their team off the field, for while DJK Füchtel Vechta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
