When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arūnas Murza sped through Sydney FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rasmus Gölz. Zigmantas Norkevičius might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rasmus Gölz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zigmantas Norkevičius ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Absoliut defense, Bartolomeo Heinlein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaclovas Jurkus. The Absoliut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaclovas Jurkus should have stopped the shot. Adnan Tilner kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Arūnas Murza notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sydney FC's Rasmus Gölz. Rasmus Gölz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdas Ivanauskas in the 34th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
