The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Nölting showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonas Selvåg hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ballkam Sportsklubb getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sigve Halvorsen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Schulitz in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Ose prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes, Florian Schulitz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Daniel Ose tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jari Anzengruber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigve Halvorsen in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Daniel Ose got control of the ball when Conny Stober tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Molina in the 34th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Henry Nölting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Aaron Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Academica Pulheim defense, Aaron Molina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Nölting. The Academica Pulheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Nölting should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Conny Stober got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Schulitz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jari Anzengruber hit a great ball. Meinolf Rebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Molina couldn't finish the play. Academica Pulheim's Hannes Steckamp was substituted for Rando Max. Daniel Ose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Schaffert in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Ose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Schulitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Kuhn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halvdan Strømsvåg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Ose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Anzengruber in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the game Meinolf Rebe made a throw-in which Noel Schaffert played forward. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
