Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Stordal kicked off to start the match. Tjark Ernst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Bjørgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hertha 1969's Tjark Ernst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Hetman in the 10th minute of play. AEK FC's Radowit Hetman got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Tjark Ernst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Sandvær. Leonard Sandvær scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tjark Ernst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jäckel in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Jäckel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Mark Stripf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 51st play minutes Adam Jäckel shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Kenneth Knudsen and just under the crossbar into goal. Tjark Ernst had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Cornelius Bjørgo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Leonard Sandvær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tjark Ernst. Hertha 1969's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Sandvær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. AEK FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
