Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brian Urpani made the kick off which started today's match. Fierce's Tom Mériguet got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jason Haber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Mériguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 7 played minutes Fierce got a freekick which was hit by Alix Gaye. The Floriana Celtics fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 11th minute, Brian Urpani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyril Duclaux was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Brian Urpani took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyril Duclaux. Cyril Duclaux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Fierce's goalkeeper Cyril Duclaux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Urpani. Fierce's Patrice Deltour got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Floriana Celtics's Gregory Boffa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Gregory Boffa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyril Duclaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Brian Urpani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyril Duclaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Urpani struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cyril Duclaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. Simon Deguara hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Brian Urpani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyril Duclaux was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Lacour made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Teuma Castelletti in the 57th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Cyril Duclaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Urpani came free, but Cyril Duclaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyril Duclaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Urpani in the 63rd minute of play. If Brian Urpani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyril Duclaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Boffa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fierce's Cyril Duclaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Boffa in the 78th minute of play. If Gregory Boffa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Brian Urpani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cyril Duclaux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fierce's Cyril Duclaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Urpani in the 89th minute of play. There was no doubt that Floriana Celtics were the better team. Floriana Celtics's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
