Nestoras Kavvadias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Vassilis Banasidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kavvadias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Petros Kounadopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kavvadias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Molendikó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Banasas came free, but Nestoras Kavvadias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Diogenis Priovolos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestoras Kavvadias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Vassilis Banasidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Banasidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Kavvadias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogenis Priovolos in the 26th minute of play forced Molendikó FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Kavvadias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestoras Kavvadias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Priovolos in the 28th minute of play. Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Kounadopoulos in the 32nd minute of play. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikiforos Theofilou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Molendikó FC's Nikiforos Theofilou made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Makis Tselementes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Priovolos was the one to do the kick off. Nestoras Kavvadias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Nikologiannis in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Molendikó FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexis Stratigakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alexis Stratigakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias did a great save. Sakis Kollias kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Alexis Stratigakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestoras Kavvadias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogenis Priovolos in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Vassilis Banasidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestoras Kavvadias. Nestoras Kavvadias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Banasas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestoras Kavvadias. That made the score 1-6 in the 75 minute of play. After some careless play in the Molendikó FC defense, Achilleas Vasilatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestoras Kavvadias. The Molendikó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestoras Kavvadias should have stopped the shot. Diogenis Priovolos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nestoras Kavvadias made a huge save. Panagiotis Stravocheris took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Kavvadias. Nestoras Kavvadias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Nestoras Kavvadias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Banasidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Molendikó FC defense, Diogenis Priovolos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestoras Kavvadias. The Molendikó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestoras Kavvadias should have stopped the shot. The Molendikó FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ΠΑΟΚ FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
