After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Giannis Miliokas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chouliarades's supporters rose to their feet, but Giannis Miliokas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play, Villa Gordiani's Anfilogino Zico made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theocharis Zouvelekis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anthony Bellomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Attilio Iob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theocharis Zouvelekis having to interfere. Chouliarades's Theocharis Zouvelekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Zico in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giannis Miliokas to make the kick off. Attilio Iob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute.
