Chouliarades's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aris Voutsas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute Alexis Stratigakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theocharis Zouvelekis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Stratigakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Theocharis Zouvelekis made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Chouliarades got a freekick which was hit by Panos Tsoumas. 16 minutes into the match, Chouliarades's goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aris Voutsas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Stratigakis in the 17th minute of play forced Chouliarades's goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chouliarades's Theocharis Zouvelekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Vasilatos in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Achilleas Vasilatos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theocharis Zouvelekis. Achilleas Vasilatos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Panagiotis Galanos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Achilleas Vasilatos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theocharis Zouvelekis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Alexis Stratigakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the Chouliarades players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Aris Voutsas made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Chouliarades's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Voutsas came free, but Theocharis Zouvelekis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chouliarades defense, Alexis Stratigakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theocharis Zouvelekis. The Chouliarades fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theocharis Zouvelekis should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Alexis Stratigakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theocharis Zouvelekis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, Alexis Stratigakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theocharis Zouvelekis. Chouliarades's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Stratigakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Theocharis Zouvelekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Stratigakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Theocharis Zouvelekis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilleas Vasilatos in the 71st minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Voutsas to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ΠΑΟΚ FC had played much better football throughout.
