Miltiadis Tsouchtras hit a great ball. Kostas Tsioris didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 11th minute, Youri Djorkaeff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avel Vat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Youri Djorkaeff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Tsioris. Youri Djorkaeff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Edmond Kubiak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Tsioris, 4-0. 26 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Minier came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Guillaume Minier got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bilal Moutte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Moutte. Danny Pasquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Karamichas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Minier came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Tsioris was a little too slow when Guillaume Minier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Youri Djorkaeff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Tsioris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Émilien Tessier in the 51st minute of play. Thodoris Pavlakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Orestis Katsadourakis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AC Milan defense, Youri Djorkaeff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Tsioris. The AC Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Tsioris should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Guillaume Minier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Tsioris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Tsioris came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff. But to his dismay, Youri Djorkaeff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Youri Djorkaeff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Tsioris having to interfere. In the 71st minute, one of Avel Vat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avel Vat. Guillaume Minier charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillaume Minier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillaume Minier kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Pavlos Kazakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. Kostas Tsioris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youri Djorkaeff's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 86th minute of play. Kostas Tsioris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Minier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Tsioris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Avel Vat were the better team. Avel Vat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
