Avel Vat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillaume Minier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bilal Moutte fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avel Vat's protests and gave Bilal Moutte a yellow card for diving instead. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 80 minutes into the match, Rossangeles's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Minier came free, but Fabrizio Cremonese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Cremonese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aymerick Thellier in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Zollino got free with Moïse Labruyère in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Rossangeles's Donato Loiacono dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The Avel Vat supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rossangeles's performance. The match ended with a win for Rossangeles.
