Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Sheriff's Alexandros Vikelidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Apostolikas Giannaros hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Toris in the 12th minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Manos Melogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolikas Giannaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Karnezis having to interfere. The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Vrettos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Karnezis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Vikelidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandros Vikelidis had several of the GOD OF WAR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Panos Karnezis as he didn't even see the shot coming. GOD OF WAR's Panos Karnezis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save GOD OF WAR from getting a goal against them. Anthimos Stratoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Panos Karnezis was a little too slow when Apostolikas Giannaros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Konstantinos Kounenakis made the kick off in the second half. Panos Karnezis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolikas Giannaros, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dimitris Kapopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Panos Karnezis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Vikelidis took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panos Karnezis. Panos Karnezis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanasis Toris hit a great ball. When Anthimos Stratoulis fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOD OF WAR's protests and gave Anthimos Stratoulis a yellow card for diving instead. Anthimos Stratoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Panos Karnezis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Vikelidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheriff's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Thanasis Toris scored to the left of an out of position Manos Melogiannis, making the score, 6-2. In the 79th minute, Fondas Katralikakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alekos Lazarakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Panos Karnezis. GOD OF WAR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute, Dimitris Kapopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Karnezis was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Thanasis Toris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanasis Toris kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Thrasivoulos Neopidis's late challenge caught a Sheriff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thrasivoulos Neopidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Thrasivoulos Neopidis got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Sheriff fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Sheriff's Alexandros Vikelidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Sheriff were the better team. Sheriff's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
