Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandros Vikelidis started the match with the kick off. Manos Melogiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Sarantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Petros Sarantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Sheriff's Alexandros Vikelidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Leontarakis. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 17th minute Giorgos Sarris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Melogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Apostolikas Giannaros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheriff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apostolikas Giannaros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Vikelidis came free, but Thomas Leontarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Seahawks V55 booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Vrettos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Sarris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Marianos. Stamatis Paspalakis made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seahawks V55's Thanos Ntaloukas. Dimitris Kapopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Leontarakis having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Alexandros Vikelidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Leontarakis. Alexandros Vikelidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thomas Leontarakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apostolikas Giannaros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. When Alexandros Vikelidis came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sheriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandros Vikelidis couldn't finish the play. Dimitris Kapopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Leontarakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitris Kapopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgos Sarris was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Sarris in the 51st minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Manos Melogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Takis Miaoulis. 57 minutes into the game, Dimitris Kapopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Thomas Leontarakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kapopoulos came free, but Thomas Leontarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Miaoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Leontarakis having to interfere. Takis Miaoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Leontarakis having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Alexandros Vikelidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Thomas Leontarakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Stefanos Vrettos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dimitris Kapopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Leontarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Vikelidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Takis Miaoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Leontarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Sheriff's Alexandros Vikelidis made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Leontarakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandros Vikelidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manos Melogiannis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Petros Sarantos sent off a good shot on target. Sheriff walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
