The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Laget during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soliera's Dennis Selvi got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Laget in the 22nd minute of play forced Soliera's goalkeeper Alfredo Di Florio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Laget in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Carlini couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Felix Laget made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ground Control's Carlos Julienne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Di Florio. The crowd rose to their feet as Ground Control's Felix Laget slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Di Florio. That made the score 1-2 after 75 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Felix Laget notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Soliera's Alfredo Di Florio. Alfredo Di Florio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Di Florio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Laget went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Carlos Julienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Di Florio having to interfere. Felix Laget succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 87th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Carlos Julienne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ground Control's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Julienne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
