After 6 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Moïse Hauser. Jérémie Millier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Christou in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Louison Vaille got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Felix Laget had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. With his leg Seleykos Sklavenitis managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Ground Control's Felix Laget fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ground Control's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Batiste Lassalle in the 23rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Moïse Hauser managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 28th minute, Charalambos Christou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jérémie Millier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Nessos Koulaxizis fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unione Sportiva's protests and gave Nessos Koulaxizis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Unione Sportiva's Nessos Koulaxizis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Felix Laget in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ground Control's Sylvain Chiffoleau quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nessos Koulaxizis, made in the 43rd minute of the game. If Sylvain Chiffoleau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Carlos Julienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Seleykos Sklavenitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvain Chiffoleau in the 57th minute of play. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Laget in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Ground Control's Jérémie Millier got control of the ball when Dimosthenis Malihoudis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jérémie Millier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lambros Kaloxylos in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Laget in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seleykos Sklavenitis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nessos Koulaxizis was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th match minute, Unione Sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nessos Koulaxizis to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Julienne might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seleykos Sklavenitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Julienne ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Julienne to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
