Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Louis Makris took the kick off in the first half of the match. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Livaditis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Panteliadis in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Charis Katydis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Duckadam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Katydis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Ermis Panteliadis came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Katydis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Charis Katydis sped through RO Army V55's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. In the 21st minute, Ermis Panteliadis made a precise shot to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When AFC Ajax's Nontas Livaditis in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nontas Livaditis in the 31st minute of the match. Michalis Bakakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. After 35 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Bakakos. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Charis Katydis. But to his dismay, Charis Katydis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Katydis in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. After some careless play in the RO Army V55 defense, Nontas Livaditis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. The RO Army V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmuth Duckadam should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charis Katydis to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermis Panteliadis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Katydis in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. Nontas Livaditis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmuth Duckadam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Akis Pinezas replaced Michalis Bakakos. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Daniel Prodan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Charis Katydis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. In the 70th minute, RO Army V55's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nontas Livaditis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 71st play minutes Charis Katydis shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Helmuth Duckadam and just under the crossbar into goal. Charis Katydis in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Helmuth Duckadam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Charis Katydis sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Renos Stefanou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Stavros Maridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Ermis Panteliadis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam, 0-8. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Katydis in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Ajax's Charis Katydis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. That made the score 0-9 after 93 minutes of play. AFC Ajax's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
