After having played for 44 minutes, Ntinos Kyzeridis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ntinos Kyzeridis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Periklis Dentsas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markos Pittarakis to make the kick off. Ntinos Kyzeridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabri Fouquet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Trifillia.FC's Sabri Fouquet threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Periklis Dentsas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, Markos Pittarakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sabri Fouquet, 1-1. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Tzorvas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jean-Michel Blandin managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pointe Courte's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Michel Blandin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. La Pointe Courte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel in the 92nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Pierre-Antoine Mariette heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
