After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Andrea Landolfi got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Anthony Doris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Urbani. Fiume Veneto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Doris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Flocco got free with Edmondo Urbani in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Attilio Sacchi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fiume Veneto's Edmondo Urbani did a great save.
