Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charis Katydis started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Bakakos came free, but Vassilis Sapanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's Michalis Bakakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vassilis Sapanis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charis Katydis took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Sapanis. Vassilis Sapanis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The AFC Ajax fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when AFC Ajax's Nontas Livaditis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Bakakos came free, but Vassilis Sapanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Charis Katydis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vassilis Sapanis was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 25th minute Charis Katydis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Sapanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charis Katydis scored 0-5 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vassilis Sapanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Charis Katydis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Sapanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michalis Bakakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vassilis Sapanis having to make a save. When AFC Ajax's Charis Katydis in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAOK FC's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Eutichios Kaligeros came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the PAOK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Kaligeros couldn't finish the play. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marios Karagiannos hit a great ball. Vassilis Sapanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Katydis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Katydis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Sapanis saved PAOK FC from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Theodosis Giannou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Akis Pinezas replaced Michalis Bakakos. PAOK FC's Vassilis Sapanis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save PAOK FC from getting a goal against them. The AFC Ajax fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when AFC Ajax's Charis Katydis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 81 minutes, Akis Pinezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Pinezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akis Pinezas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vassilis Sapanis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 88 played minutes Charis Katydis rounded PAOK FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. Panos Thomaidis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Charis Katydis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the AFC Ajax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Katydis couldn't finish the play. Akis Pinezas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded AFC Ajax left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PAOK FC.
