Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) PAOK FC's Vassilis Sapanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Makris in the 3rd minute of play. Theodosis Giannou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. Minas Piliouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Fanis Katsiaounis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RO Army V55's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fanis Katsiaounis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vassilis Sapanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Makris in the 10th minute of play. Minas Piliouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Katsiaounis came free, but Vassilis Sapanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Fanis Katsiaounis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Sapanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Louis Makris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vassilis Sapanis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Makris's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Fanis Katsiaounis came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the RO Army V55 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fanis Katsiaounis couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Louis Makris. 35 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Makris came free, but Vassilis Sapanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minas Piliouras in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Makris in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Sapanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when PAOK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soulis Katsara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louis Makris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thanos Tsironis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in PAOK FC's zone, Louis Makris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Sapanis came out of the goal and Louis Makris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Makris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vassilis Sapanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fanis Katsiaounis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vassilis Sapanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Makris in the 74th minute of play. Fanis Katsiaounis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Louis Makriss short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Vassilis Sapanis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PAOK FC's Theodosis Giannou got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Minas Piliouras hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. RO Army V55's Thodoris Koutsoures shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vassilis Sapanis but with some difficulty. If Thodoris Koutsoures had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Makris in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vassilis Sapanis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. RO Army V55's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
